Lactic acid, glycolic acid, and urea are keratolytics which increase skin moisture and hydration, creating a smooth hydrated surface for the reflection of light to produce a glowing skin.
 
This happens by dissolving the horny substance (keratin) holding the top layer of skin cells together. This helps the dead skin cells fall off, helping the skin keep in more water.
 
Warning: AHA increase photosensitivity. Use product only at night and wear sunscreen during the day to avoid sunburn.
